As disciples of Jesus Christ, the Christ Church community holds to the convictions described below. If you are just inquiring about the Christian faith, we warmly welcome you and your questions as we seek God's truth and grace together.
- The Authority of Scripture. The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God and the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice.
- The Triune God. There is one and but one living and true God, subsisting in three persons the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit equal in power and glory. This triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
- The Saving Work of Jesus. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. Through His life, death, and resurrection, an atonement was made for sin and redemption was provided for all mankind.
- The Necessity of Personal Response. Repentance for sin and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as a personal Savior is the one and only way whereby sinful humanity can inherit eternal life.
- The Renewing Work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit regenerates the soul of the believer and brings men and women into saved relations with God. He is the Comforter and Guide of all who receive Jesus Christ as a personal Savior.
- The Historic Faith of the Church. The Apostles' Creed embodies the fundamental facts of the Christian faith.
