The focus of this ministry is to provide opportunities for singles to connect to Christ. These groups provide a variety of ways for single Christians to serve, to get together for social activities, and to get to know what it means to be a follower of Christ as a solo adult. New comers are always welcome!
Higher Ground's central focus is on single adults in their late 30's to mid-60's who want to live a life marked by worship, growth and service.
We will gather on the 2nd Monday of every month from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. for a Bible/Book Study around Biblical Themes. Any social activities will be posted on the calendar, or on our Facebook page.
Have you or someone you know ended a long-term relationship, in the process of a divorce, contemplating one, or have been divorced for a while? Do you feel lost, hurt, frustrated, angry, but not sure what to do with all these emotions?
Our Refocus Relationship Workshop provides a supportive, safe, yet challenging environment that can help you begin the healing process and discover a new vision for your life, and your future relationships. We will discuss how to deal with your loss, anger, explore ways to communicate and steps toward forgiveness while encouraging you to consider God's plan for your future.
Our next workshop is a total of 7 sessions, beginning February 9 & 10 from 7:00 – 8:45 pm, February 11 from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, and continues on Sundays February 12, 19, 26 & March 5 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm.
Cost is $40 per person (Scholarships are available upon request)
