Living in authentic community with one another is one of the highest values of Christ Church. We worship, grow, serve and lead out of the strength we find through life-giving relationships with one another. This is why you'll find through this site and our church's life a great emphasis on helping you find a home in a growth group or servant ministry team.
The Bible also casts an even larger vision of community. It teaches that God's love embraces all people regardless of racial identity, that his kingdom is aimed at the reconciliation of all nations to God and to one another, and that the multi-ethnic membership of the New Testament Church was a sign of hope to a fractured world. One of the final prayers of Jesus himself was for the unity of his followers.
Our goal is to sponsor measures that lead to a better reflection of biblical community in and through our church's life. We warmly welcome the friendship of those who can help us continue to learn from one another, address thoughtfully the issues that often separate even Christians of different heritages, and continue to make progress on this important journey.
