Premiering at Christ Church in 2004, The Passion has become a beloved annual Christ Church tradition. This modern musical drama tells the story of Christ’s life, death and glorious resurrection, through powerful song. New this year, we will present highlights from the musical by our Chancel Choir, a small professional orchestra and excellent professional soloists, conducted by Noelle Combs, and featuring tenor William Combs of Lyric Opera of Chicago in the role of Jesus. Rev. Aaron Foster will weave the music together with teaching and Scripture.
